Worth knowing: Each design picks its own licence — Creative Commons variants (including non-commercial ones) or GPL — shown on the design page. Wikipedia says registration is optional, but Thingiverse's own pages did not confirm whether downloading needs an account. MyMiniFactory took over Thingiverse in 2026.
