About
What Fill PDF Forms does
Fill in a PDF form in your browser: type into its fields, tick its boxes and download it with every answer saved in the form itself. Forms that check what is typed or add up a total still do, and blank required fields are listed before you send it.
A flat form, printed to PDF with nowhere to type, can be given fields with Prepare form, which finds the blanks on the page for you.
Everything happens on your own machine: the file is decoded, processed and re-encoded by your browser, and never leaves your device. There is no upload, no queue and no account.
Why this one
Why use Fill PDF Forms here
-
Answers saved in the fields
What you type goes into the form's own fields, so the answers stay editable and the recipient's software reads them as answers.
-

Questions
Frequently asked
How do I fill out a PDF form?
Drop it here and it opens in the reader. Click a field and type, tick the boxes, then Export: the download has every answer saved in its fields.
My PDF has nowhere to type. Can I still fill it in?
Yes. Prepare form finds the blanks on a flat form and turns them into fields, or you can place fields yourself. For a quick note, the Comment tool's text box writes anywhere on the page.
Will the answers be saved in the form?
Yes. They go into the form's own fields, so they stay editable and the recipient's software reads them as answers, not as text drawn on top.
How do I sign a PDF?
Draw your signature with the pen, or type it in a text box, both in the Comment tool. For a signature that proves who signed and that nothing changed afterwards, Sign (under More) signs with your certificate file, and its key never leaves your device.
Can I type in other languages?
Yes. Arabic, Polish and other languages are written into the fields as you type them.
Can I save my answers and reuse them?
Yes. Export the form data as an FDF or XFDF file, and import it into another copy of the same form.
Are my answers uploaded?
No. The form is filled in your browser and saved to your device; nothing you type is sent anywhere.
